Robbert Golsteijn has been an associate lawyer at our firm since 2015. His practice focuses on employment law, corporate law, and insolvency law.
Robbert advises business clients on areas ranging from dismissals, compensation, reorganizations, transfer of undertaking, successive term of employment, collective agreements, and various contractual clauses such as competition and non-solicitation clauses. He also deals with disputes between directors (among themselves) and shareholders of companies. Robbert has extensive experience in litigation on these issues. In addition, Robbert has assisted our firm’s insolvency practitioners in settling insolvencies in recent years.
Robbert studied private law at Maastricht University. In 2019, he completed Grotius Academy’s specialist legal course in employment law. In 2022, he completed the Business Administration course at Maastricht University.
This year (2024), Robbert is participating in the Insolvency Law specialisation course at the Grotius Academy.
Robbert is a member of the Netherlands Employment Lawyers’ Association (Vereniging Arbeidsrecht Advocaten Nederland, VAAN), the Employment Lawyers’ Association for the District of Limburg (Vereniging Arbeidsrecht Advocaten Arrondissement Limburg, VAAAL), and a prospective member of the Association of Insolvency Lawyers (INSOLAD).
Robbert is also committed to helping his community and is a member of the charitable volunteering organization ‘Ronde Tafel 179 Maastricht Charlemagne’. Together with the other members of this organization, he participates in projects and agencies that provide support to children with health or social problems. Every year, they organize the ‘Bassinario’ in Maastricht.
