Specializing in IT law, intellectual property law, and privacy law, Laurens is in his element in all legal aspects of digitization and innovation. He has extensive experience in advising on, drafting, and negotiating often complex contracts and a great deal of experience in terms of litigation.
Laurens studied at the European Law School in Maastricht. In 2020, he completed Grotius Academie’s specialist legal course in information technology law. He is a member of the specialist Association of IT Lawyers (Vereniging Informaticarecht Advocaten, VIRA) and the Dutch Association for Information Technology and Law (Nederlandse Vereniging voor Informatietechnologie en Recht, NVVIR). In the Netherlands Bar Association’s register of legal practice areas, he is registered as practising in IT law, IP law, and privacy law.
In 2019, he established his own boutique law firm and works with our firm as an independent.
